A large manufacturing firm engaged us to help them deploy a strategic approach to talent acquisition.
The head of talent acquisition for a well-respected, large manufacturing firm in California with over 3000 employees and 45+ offices around the globe reached out. We began the engagement with a discovery session designed to bring our team up to date. Then, we began to hold bi-weekly strategy sessions to help their core talent acquisition team make operational improvements across their talent acquisition landscape. We collaborated and shared our research, built up related documentation, and coordinated future projects via a shared Google Drive folder.
We visited their corporate offices and manufacturing plant meet the various teams and to learn more about their culture. While there, we helped to facilitate a strategy session between talent acquisition and their marketing team. We also conducted a plant tour to meet with structural engineers, shop-floor operators and customer service representatives firsthand.
We worked with them to identify a set of talent acquisition projects designed to improve their organization-wide talent attraction and sourcing efforts. We set up a talent attraction guide for them to follow. We also documented a new sourcing approach. During our time together, we held regular, ongoing strategy sessions with the team.
